Compete.com Faces Legal Issues

The start of the second quarter of 2010 will be a tough stage for Compete.com as the renowned law firm Ledger & Associates considered a lawsuit against the web analytics company.

In a recent statement of Ledger & Associates, they are urging the previous clients of Compete.com who have been denied of refunds, to work with them on a contingency against Compete.com.

The claim is that Compete.com allegedly made a representation of services that they did not properly deliver, and when unhappy customers of them demanded for refunds, the refund requests were denied based on Compete.com’s “corporate policy”.

As of this writing, no word of retaliation has been heard from Compete.com, who will surely be obliged to seek legal defenses to address the issue they are currently facing.

Compete.com is an online analytics site under Kantar Media Company, its services are being equally paralleled to that of Alexa.com and Quantcast.com.
